Importance of education was confirmed at EBAN Helsinki 2019 congress, ‘angel investors becoming more professional’ was voted as one of the big trends from 2019 onwards. FiBAN Academy

What?
The one, the original, FiBAN Academy with five modules, each covering different topics of the basics of angel investing. Taking place in Maria 01 from 11:30 to 17:00, this half-day session includes the best specialists from FiBAN partners, experienced members, and other ecosystem influencers, like the top VCs. Meet with fellow investors, as the day is also all about mingling and changing ideas as well as learning

For who?
FiBAN Academy is a good fit for both experienced angels and for those who are even slightly interested in angel investing can. What?
Impressed already by FiBAN Academy? Now you can find them all online! All training sessions recorded and edited with slides. You can buy classes one at a time, or all five modules for a year and watch them as many times as you want. It doesn’t get much easier to write your own notes or check some details from the class afterwards.

Business Angel Academy by Aalto ENT 

What?
Aalto University, one of the best universities in Finland, from January 2020 onwards offers a deep-dive courses to angel investing in their entrepreneurship development unit. Five six-week modules, which have been created in collaboration with FiBAN, consists of both online classes and regular classes with some of the world’s best trainers. After completing the program, participants will be able to find the best investment opportunities, know how to enable growth, and know when and how to execute a successful exit.

For who?
Business Angel Academy is designed for private investors who want a deep insight into startup investing. Participants will learn to lead startups by developing the core value of the business. ECT points earned in completing the modules can be used for one’s own MBA degree. This is a golden opportunity to learn from the Finns, most famously known for education (and maybe from sauna).
