EdTech innovation Mightifier won the Arctic15 pitching competition taking home FiBAN syndicate of €50k
On Thursday evening, The Mighty United Oy, was named the winner of the Arctic15 Microsoft Pitching Competition 2017 for startups. Competing against 500 Nordic and Baltic startups, the win guarantees Mightifier app a 50 000 EUR syndicate deal with FiBAN. The company is working on expanding the global reach of the app. The jury team, consisting of prominent investors, highlighted the severe competition. Mightifer is a positive peer communication app with a measurable impact. The app boosts social and emotional learning, which are strongly connected to academic performance and vital to the success of the 21st Century kids.

The Mighty United Oy, focusing on social-emotional learning of primary school kids, says that its success is based on teamwork with teachers and kids in the real classrooms. The positive peer feedback app has been sweeping the trophy tables; last week, it won a Grand Prix, best in show award in a prestigious Finnish design competition Vuoden Huiput 2016. Mightifier app was also recently named the winner of Best in Design and honored in Most Innovative Digital Service category in the annual 2017 Grand One Awards. The app also placed in the top 5 in the 2017 Webby Awards.
