Finnish Business Angel Network's association is guided by the board of business angels elected yearly at the regulatory fall meeting, this year the 1st of November. The new board will take over the activity in January 2017.
The startup and growth company ecosystem has had an amazing evolution, especially in Finland the last years. It’s always amazing to think how many things in the startup scene we now take for granted, which were rare when FiBAN was founded in 2011.

Finnish digital health startup Klinik has raised €0.5M seed funding. The round led by seasoned industry player Kustaa Piha was joined by Takoa Invest and Gorilla Ventures accompanied by private investors with vast experience on healthcare and ICT sectors. Klinik was established in 2013 and has already acquired a significant footprint in Finnish healthcare business.
The board of Finnish Business Angels Network selects annually the Finnish ”Business Angel of the Year”. This year the winner is Mrs. Leena Niemistö. The selection is based on suggestions submitted to the board and the winner was announced at FiBAN’s Business Angel Gala on November 5th 2016.
