Heidi Tawast has started as the Community Manager of Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) on the 25th of September 2017. Heidi will activate the FiBAN community in many ways, focusing on partner and startup ecosystem player collaboration, communications, events & trainings and sector activity.
Loviisan kaupunginvaltuusto on päättänyt valita VTM, MBA Jan D. Oker-Blom, 42 uudeksi kaupunginjohtajaksi. Oker-Blom on aiemmin ollut pankkialalla ja mukana useassa yrityksessä sekä istunut Helsingin kaupunginvaltuustossa ja kaupunginhallituksessa. FIBANia hän on johtanut vuodesta 2012.
NewCo Helsinki has created the online publication ”Immigrant Entrepreneurs – How to become an entrepreneur in Finland?” for immigrants who are considering starting up a business in Finland. At the same time, it is a service for people and companies abroad who are thinking of establishing a business or a branch in Helsinki or elsewhere in Finland. The goal of the publication is to guide future entrepreneurs in licence matters as well as to assist business advisers and others working with these issues as part of their daily advisory work.
